I remember when I was in the fifth grade, and we eventually just leaned our tree against the wall.

I told my Mom about our tree, and she said, "remember when our tree......" .

I went to bed thankful that Cooper and I  are blessed to be making "remember when" memories with our children.

Oliver's birthday breakfast

I was lagging on the eve of Oliver's birthday, and it didn't look like our BB was going to happen. Thankfully, Sara-Cooper and Creighton woke up at 5:00 and decorated for me.   ;)

A quick trip to the fire station

We went on a last minute field trip to the fire station.   It was definitely the highlight of Oliver's week!

Funnel cakes at 5:00 A.M.

Cooper, Creighton, and Sara-Cooper surprised me this morning with breakfast in bed .Creighton and Sara-Cooper hatch a plan every night at bedtime.  They try to wake up in the middle of the night to play Lego or watch a movie or whatever.

The scary thing is that they actually succeed about once a week, and the next day I get to school very sleepy children. :) Well, last night they included their Dad with their little plan. The deal was that they would all wake up and have a midnight snack together. Their midnight snack turned into a very early breakfast that started at 4 a.m. . Of course when your include Cooper in on your plan, it always gets more involved-Enter the homemade funnel cakes with lots of powdered sugar!!
