Road Trip

 ###

After the boys basketball game, we took them to meet O.J. Mayo and get his autograph.
Creighton and his Dad really enjoyed watching him play with the Grizzles the night before.
(I am not sure how thrilled Sherman was-He is an Atlanta Hawks fan :) )

Chapel

Creighton was chosen to read his paper in chapel.
The class was asked to write a paper on Romans 8:28-39.

37) Nay, in all things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
38) For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angles, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39) Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate  us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Christmas Memories

A Gingerbread House

This is how I found Sara-Cooper after we completed our house.
She hid behind the Christmas tree to finish off the icing!

I walked back in the kitchen and found Oliver with definite plans for the gingerbread house.
Before Christmas was over, all the gumballs had mysteriously disappeared from the roof.

Christmas Eve

Christmas Day

Notice it is dark outside. Creighton starting waking us up at 4:50.
We were finished with presents by 5:50!!

A Late Lunch with Grandparents and Cousins

Oliver took a power nap after lunch.

We thought surely the children would fall asleep on the way home.
WE WERE WRONG!
They were all this wide eyed when we pulled in the driveway.
Maybe we will get some rest in 2010!
