Our sweet baby turned one today. This is the one and only time she has pulled up!

Eloise has brought so much joy to our home. She is such a sweet and happy baby.

My childhood swing

I lived in the same house until I went to college. When we were little my Dad put up a swing just like this one.

It is a used fire hose off a fire truck.  My parents moved right before our wedding.  The first thing my Dad did in their new house was put up a swing just like our old one. I love to see my children swing on it.

It was a great night! I thought the fun was over when we went to bed.

I was wrong!

This picture was taken exactly one hour and fifteen minutes AFTER Sara-Cooper woke up for the day!

I was awakened by her voice telling me to smell her new *kitty hello* erasers. "They smell so good I could eat them."

She was just too "excited to sleep". So I did what any good mother would do. I took pictures. =)

First day of school

We are looking forward to a great year! My first babies are growing up before my eyes.

Sara-Cooper is beginning to read and Creighton is learning Latin!

     Oh Boy!

Disobedience can lead to trouble

Especially when you splash in a puddle!

It leaves you suffering with the consequences.

Ouch.

It also leads to forced food and upset stomachs!

The Farmers Market

Sally thinks Blue is her mother. Blue is patient and still while she NURSES her!  After Sally finishes, Blue licks her like a momma cat. They sleep curled up together every night. I am not a "cat person" , but this sure helps endear me to Sally =) .
